Hi I am using NextScripts: Social Networks Auto-Poster.

What is the difference between “import” and “show”.

      Test page is here https://www.skyrac.co.uk/wp-to-fb-test-1/

      Many thanks.

What plugin have you used exactly? Are you sure it was actually importing comments, not just showing them?

Importing comments from Facebook is very time and resource consuming task. Importing comments from 100 posts can easily take 30 minutes. If you start doing it more often import tasks will overlap eventually killing your site’s performance.

Ok. If you still want to go that road.

You have selected “Scheduled” in the settings. You have, for example, 15 networks. You submit a post. Your delay is set to 0. This means all 15 networks will be scheduled for the exact same moment of time. WordPress is good in handling multiple threads, but not that good. There is a quite probability that out of 15 tasks scheduled for the exact same moment several will FAIL. THAT WILL BE A MAJOR ISSUE.

So we took some measures to prevent such thing. Even if your delay is set to 0, plugin generates some random number of seconds to delay each networks.

That was en explanation why it changes 0 to 1. Do I need to explain any more technical details about the system?

Now back to your problem. Please fix WP Cron and it will start working fine.

After many tries auto-reposting for specific times doesn’t work. It works only with “Repost existing posts every”.

I set Only between hours 20 and 12 but it continue to post 17-18-19 even every 30 minutes as i set it

For question 1 and 2 i try better and i will say you again.

For Facebook new [bigger] shared link thumbnail images: it works on facebook page but doensn’t work on news feed. If i post a link manually, same link as above, it works on both (page and news feed).

The only is problem I live is schedule time.I am usinig 2.72 now.

I have setup cron from cpanel like you said.

I am setting up scheduling for each account 10 minutes,20 minutes,30 minutes but the system posts them all in same time. There are only 2-3 minutes between them. What can be the solition for this?

                      Thank you.

Issues one and two are clear signs of the broken WP Cron.

                          Please see here: https://www.nextscripts.com/tutorials/wp-cron-scheduling-tasks-in-wordpress/

                          >> Facebook new [bigger] shared link thumbnail images – DOESN’T WORK

Sorry, but it can’t be. 🙂

If you read the post you see that this feature possible only if you check “Let Facebook fill the link info” checkbox. This basically means that if this checkbox is set plugin just does NOTHING. It just tells the the Facebook – “Here is the URL to share – do whatever you like with it”. There is noting else. Nothing could be broken, nothing for us to fix.

If you don’t see the big thumbnail then your link doesn’t meet the Facebook requirements for big thumbnails.

                          There are several:

                          – link MUST be shared, not attached.
                          – page must have og: meta tags.
                          – og:image meta tag must be set and contain the correct image URL.
                          – size of the image listed in og:image meta tag should be minimum is 560x292px, recommended 1200x627px.

Please don’t use 2.7.21 it has a bug breaking the meta saving. Please use 2.7.22.

As for your situation, then it is totally possible that one of 3.0 betas messed up your 2.7 settings, so you had to remove them in order to fix the issue.

That is exactly why we are saying everywhere: – V3.0 is a beta version. It could have bugs and problems. Please do not use on important/live/production websites.

If you are 100% sure that the settings are the same, then please try to set a 3-5 minutes delay for the autoposting.

why there is no problem when my configuration is zero SNAP script turn to 1 ? that is major issue ……
As i said, WP-CRON is WORKING but you never reply anything on it, other than blaming my WP-CRON fail, i can give you FULL SERVER LOG FILES here ….

0 and 1 is two totally different thing, with unstable script behavior that might cause a lot more problem than you see or willing to look further on IT.

Btw you not ANSWERING other than POINTING FAQ that is USELESS FOR ME, I’m Looking for ANSWER not FAQ or PUSHING responsibility ……..

I HATE WHEN YOU BLAME EVERYTHING without TAKE A SERIOUS LOOK ON IT.

SO WOULD YOU MIGHT SHOWING US, HOW TO FIX MY CONFIGURATION SETUP ? CAUSE I DO SAME SETUP BUT MORE THAN 2 OUT COME, IF THIS IS HOW YOUR SCRIPT WORK, why ALLOW us to CONFIGURE IT ?

i’m using version 2.7.22 and 1.1.6 both believe is latest snap version and wp 3.7.1 …

setting BOTH IS SAME setting, my question is WHY different out COME WITH SAME SETTING ?
are you try to means SNAP can do their own setting ?

Hopefully i get the answer not hanging half way from now
