Your Callback URL in medium config is incorrect.
What is your plugin version?
You can just set it on your server and try.
RachelParticipantThis is why I haven’t updated these last few updates. The last time I did, twitter was broken, fixed, had timestamp issues, which my friend fixed and until the bugs are out, I am not updating. What i don’t get it is, this is a fantastic plugin 🙂 I love it but why release various updates when they are still buggy? Do you test them on various browsers and various social media before uploading? I assume you do,.
February 14, 2017 at 1:57 am in reply to: Google+ get Error (NXS): Lost Login info. Please contact support #533468SiwaponParticipantHello
I have sent you guys an email with ticket number #887778 but no respond since 3 days, am now trying to see if I can get any respond here.
I connected a google+ page with Comminutes and added those communities in NXS at first everything worked perfectly, I tested it and the posts showed up, but as soon as I launched my site and started posting to all my social media account, all worked perfectly except google+ i keep getting this 400 error, (Please see image https://postimg.org/image/k6uf4z1w3/ )
am not sure if this issue is because of the new updates I made, the list of google+ community pages are no longer displaying when I login into google+ on NXS, please I need to solve this issue because google+ is so very important for my new site.
Thank you
JoParticipantMy issue is that it was working … until it broke a few months ago. What is insane is that I can get one category to repost, and it is reposting again now, but another category will not repost. I just get the log report that there is nothing to repost.
This is the same site, same settings, and exactly the same posts. I have not even added anything new. So somewhere along the plugin’s development, it broke.
I don’t want to sound ungrateful or complain, but this plugin of yours is/was brilliant. I write for a living so I have have different automated reposts. One lot appears to be mini tweet like quotes, as if I had done them manually, and the other are image based posts. I also have promotional messages and book adverts that WOULD be posting, but I cannot justify the time setting it up when it may, or may not work.
Why will one category repost, but not another? I stripped out ALL the settings and then moved the posts for the one category into private, and set up the media accounts again. Then I moved the public ones into private and reversed the order, and add those into the second social media accounts. Nothing. The posts available to repost are there, and it says the number, but the plugin says there is nothing to post, while the other category continues to post merrily.
Please give us some idea of when v4 will come out. Is it imminent? A few months, or are we talking about 2025? I need to make a plan. You plugin still works well from another site I use merely to post once off raw text posts to social media that are then deleted, but please … give us some idea. People will stop nagging you if they only have some idea of when it might be. If it will be a long time, I must find some other alternative plugin or service to use.
Jo
V3 Re-posting of the old posts is broken for about 60% of users.
If it doesn’t work for you, please don’t use it. It is not completely removed only because there are some people who are successfully using it.
It won’t be fixed until Version 4.
Version 4 is coming very soon. You can see it’s progress here: https://www.nextscripts.com/v4/
Bill KochmanParticipantI began having the exact same problem two days ago when trying to syndicate to both my Facebook timeline and my Facebook page. The error message likewise every single time is the following:
Array ( [Warning] => [Error] => (#324) Missing or invalid image file )
I opened a support ticket two days ago, but thus far, there has been no response from NextScripts, probably because they don’t do support work over the weekends. It tries one’s patience, but oh well. What can we do? 🙂
I thought that this problem might have something to do with the fact that I just recently implemented the SSL/TSL protocol across my entire website and blog, but that does not appear to be the case. This seems to be a Facebook-specific issue with the SNAP plugin.
I read the information that is at the link which was suggested by NextScripts above, but it does not help any.
I have not made any changes to my settings. Post type is still set to “Image Post – big image with text message”, as it has always been. “Image” and “URL” boxes are also set to “Auto” as they have always been.
So I am not really sure what is going on here. I would wager a guess though that maybe Facebook has made more changes on their end, without any regard for what we end users think about it. They — and other large technology companies and online businesses — are notorious for adopting this kind of an atttitude.
Let’s just hope that NextScripts can find a workaround to whatever Facebook may have done, because Facebook is the most important social network that I syndicate to.
CelsiusParticipantEveryone of us has the same question. Now the repost feature is completely broke, and there is no other that work like this. And as Jo said, the selecting methods are finally completely broken. Without selection/filter posting whats the value of using this plugin?
February 10, 2017 at 10:47 am in reply to: Status Changed: future_to_publish. Autopost requested. – Nothing Happens #533344MorleyParticipantProblem solved, I will leave the solution I found for future users help:
installed a plugin “WP-Cron Control”, wich comes with a CPanel/Plesk command to trigger the Cron jobs on the server side, instead of WordPress side. Now every scheduled post is published on time and SNAP Cron job soon follows with its own works.
Just trying to understand now why some posts don’t have all the social networks check boxes enabled… strange
Thanks
February 10, 2017 at 12:11 am in reply to: Status Changed: future_to_publish. Autopost requested. – Nothing Happens #533322MorleyParticipanttracing it down to the web sites I have with CloudFlare and using https.
this just required a DNS change and 2 plugin installs, but I guess the cron has gone wild with missing schedules everywhere and SNAP getting hit by the same problem too. It’s https://www.nextscripts.com/mypage/
Since there is no public registration and login is available only to people who ordered a product, you can find the link in your welcome email.
Will be fixed in the next release.
Reposting of everything old is coming with version 4.
marcoParticipantme too…did nobody fix it?
