Twitter Question (alt. to %EXCERPT%)

We want to give our writers a way to provide specific @username entries for each of their posts and then have those included as part of the autopost.

We used the Excerpt field for this as a test and, while it worked for SNAP/Twitter to compose PERFECT, topic-specific tweets, we forgot that the Excerpt showed up on our front page. Thus each post on the front page simply showed part of the tweet. Oops.

Is there a better what to do this? Right now our Twitter Message Text Format is this:

%TITLE% review %SURL% %EXCERPT%

Just dropping the %EXCERPT% results in completely useless tweets for us. As I noted elsewhere, we do movie reviews and referencing the stars, the directors, the official film handle, etc., all are essential to our reach.
