Medium posting – link to image instead of image input

Hi.

Is there a way to actually input featured image into medium posts, instead of having a link to it?

Currently it’s like

%IMG%
%FULLTEXT%
%URL%

which returns link to img, text, url to site.

is it possible to replace link to img with actually image shown in post?

Medium has a support for HTML, so wrap %IMG% in the img html tag.

looks like it is ignored by medium, as only text is transfered over from wp to medium?
