Hey guys,
when I try to publish a new post to Instagram, it says “Image Upload Error”. But the test post from the settings page works just fine. I use normal Jpegs, nothing fancy.
Do you know why that’s happening?
Thanks, Marcel
PS: I’d love to forward my log data, but it’s empty and whenever I try to activate it, it seems to deactivate itself.
March 19, 2016 at 3:23 am #494439Kerry PageParticipantMorning, I get the same issue with Instagram, it worked for about 4 posts and then I started getting that same error. It works in the settings as a test post but not in the actual blog post. I also tried re-posting one that worked before and now it won’t post.
I also get this problem with some LinkedIn groups (not all), they work as a test post from settings but not in the actual posts 🙁
I have raised a support ticket, fingers crossed I get a solution. If I do I will post it in here for you.
Thanks
Kerry.
March 21, 2016 at 6:08 pm #494894This error basically means that your image is not ok. Please make sure your posts have images and those images are not broken or corrupted, not protected by some “hot-linking” protection service and valid for Instagram posting. (I.e. not animated gifs, broken, or some weird formats like .bmp, .eps or .tif
