Hi! I am trying to setup a new Facebook account for my website, that runs on HTTP, and not HTTPS. According to this document: https://www.nextscripts.com/instructions/facebook-social-networks-auto-poster-setup-installation/ “If you are still using http, please turn off (Set to “No”) “Enforce HTTPS for Web OAuth Login” HOWEVER, now, Facebook DOES NOT allow setting this control to NO (Enforce HTTPS for Web OAuth Login) What are my possibilities?
Facebook no longer allows non-HTTPS sites to be connected. You must use HTTPS, not HTTP to authorize Facebook. Please contact your server admin or hosting provider to switch your site to HTTPS. There are several free options to do that. You MUST do this anyway regardless of SNAP and Facebook, because Google Chrome will be marking non-HTTPS sites as “Unsafe” starting July 2018 and you will be loosing visitors.
