I cannot authorise my facebook to the SNAP autoposter WP plugin.
I get the following error:
Can’t load URL: The domain of this URL isn’t included in the app’s domains. To be able to load this URL, add all domains and sub-domains of your app to the App Domains field in your app settings. My domain (modderbaard.nl) is correctly configured on the facebook app. I double checked. What else could be the issue?
March 28, 2018 at 3:53 pm #558440Hello. I have the same issue. The solution posted from our friend from SNAP does not work due to the changes in FB policy and enabling the “Use Strict Mode for Redirect URIs” by default and even when you create new app (as proposed in SNAP instructions) it remains enabled. I guess that if the support post sample url (e.g. https://www.yoursite.com/someotherpath&someotherstuff=1) and we enter this exact URL in the Facebook “Valid OAuth Redirect URIs” field the plugin will work again…
March 28, 2018 at 4:01 pm #558441Update: The problem is easy to solve, the solution has been published in SNAP website, but a little hard to find between all the info. I will give you a quick solution:
In Facebook’s Valid OAuth Redirect URIs you must enter the URL of your SNAP/Accounts page. For me this is:
https://www.mysite.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=nxssnapOf course you need to enter your site URL in FB->App Domains (if you haven’t done this already).
Cheers,
AngelMarch 29, 2018 at 11:30 am #558443It’s actually not hard to find.
Please just follow our very detailed and illustrated with many screenshots step-by-step instructions:
The issue described in the original post won’t happen if you follow instructions item 1.5 “Enter your domain to the App Domains.”
The issue described in the second post won’t happen if you follow instructions item 1.9 “Please enter the URL of your SNAP Plugin “Accounts” page to the “Valid OAuth redirect URIs” field. Click “Save changes”All you need to do is to carefully follow the instructions.
