Is it possible to set specific hash-tags before posting to Twitter? For example, my blog post may have several tags and or categories, but I want the Twitter #football to be displayed opposed to all those associated with the post.

You can type directly to the “Message Format” field.
For example if you have %TITLE% – %SURL% – %HTAGS% there you can change it to %TITLE% – %SURL% – #football
