I’m running SNAP with the only notification at this time being for LinkedIn.
Everything has been verified and posts are made to LinkedIn.
The problem is my image doesn’t show up in the LinkedIn post. I’ve tried a few different means of posting the excerpt and the image. I have even used the %IMG% tab but when linkedin sees the url of the image, instead of showing the image, it shows a URL shortened version of the image URL.At this time, I have my message text format set as:
New post on: %TITLE% :
%IMG% %EXCERPT%
%SURL%
And Publish Posts to LinkedIn as an Attachment is NOT selected. I have tried selecting it but it doesn’t appear to make a difference.July 8, 2013 at 10:31 am #15911Linkedin does not allow to post images directly to posts, so using %IMG% will just add the link to the image, not the image itself.
LinkedIn take an image from og:image meta tag, so you need to correctly setup OG: tags on your site.
